Australian Country Music Legend Troy Cassar-Daley has received plenty of accolades over the years, but never one quite like his most recent honour.
The Gumbaynggir and Bundjalung singer now has a room named after him at the Tamworth Hotel where he regularly stays when in town for the Country Music Festival.
Room 262 at the Powerhouse Hotel is now officially the Troy Cassar Daley suite with a plaque bearing his likeness proudly hanging outside.
Troy didn’t get to see the inside of the suite, with the room already booked out. But he did catch up with NITV reporter, Dan Rennie out front.
