Russian President Vladimir Putin will arrive in India for the BRICS 2026 Summit. Putin will arrive before the summit begins and is scheduled to meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The two leaders are likely to discuss trade, energy, business, weapons and the future. Putin is offering the Su-57 stealth fighter jet, the S-500 air-defence system along with other weapons. Meanwhile, India and Russia have signed a deal for 105 IL-114 twin-engine turboprop transport aircraft. India and Russia are also expected to make announcements on newer versions of the BrahMos missile, which is expected to happen upon Putin’s Visit.
