The Business Council of Australia has scored Victoria as the worst state in the country to do business.
Victoria is the least competitive jurisdiction in the country when it comes to business, with the BCA blaming tax and regulatory handbrakes for this.
The ranking for the best states was South Australia, coming in first, followed by Tasmania.
