Firefighters are tackling the Pickett Fire in California’s wine region Napa County on Friday (August 22) after it broke out on Thursday afternoon (August 21). Covering over 2000 acres, according to CalFire, the wildfire was currently 0% contained as of 9.30am on Friday. Overnight 53 engines, 8 hand crews, 3 helicopters and a total of 350 personnel worked to stem the wildfire near Calistoga, California.
