CommSec’s Tom Piotrowski discusses how the consumer inflation levels may influence interest rate decisions for the rest of the year.
“We’ll be talking about the consumer level of inflation. Those numbers are expected to bump up a little bit over the course of the next month,” Mr Piotrowski said.
“This, of course, could potentially upset that pathway or expectation for lower interest rates over the course of the remainder of the year.”
