‘Criminal Iranian aggression’: Tehran strike on Kuwait airport kills one and injures dozens

One person has died and dozens more are injured following an Iranian strike on Kuwait’s international airport.

Flights at the airport were suspended after the attack, though services have since resumed.

Kuwait’s defence ministry labelled the attack “criminal Iranian aggression” while the foreign ministry said diplomatic missions have been damaged.

The US earlier said it had launched multiple self-defence strikes at military installations on Iran’s Qeshm Island and intercepted Iranian missiles aimed at Kuwait and Bahrain.
