Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price rejected an offer to settle a defamation lawsuit two months before making a public appeal for money to help fund her Federal Court trial.
The senator is being sued by the chief executive the Central Land Council, Lesley Turner, over a press release distributed by her office in July 2024 which claimed Mr Turner was no longer fit to be CEO due to “unprofessional conduct”.
