DNA breakthrough in 1977 Easey Street murders as suspect faces court

Prosecutors say they have DNA linking a suspect to one of Australia’s longest-running cold cases.

Perry Kouroumblis, who was arrested in Rome and extradited last year, faced a Melbourne court charged with the murder of two women in their inner-city home nearly five decades ago.
