They’re usually reserved for Instagram posts but now doctors are turning to selfies to predict a patient’s chances of surviving cancer.
Doctors at Mass General Brigham in Boston have designed an AI system that analyses a selfie, then gives a risk score to a patient who has been diagnosed with cancer and estimates how long they are expected to live.
