US President Donald Trump says he will send in troops to Portland in order to protect federal immigration facilities from people he has branded “domestic terrorists”.
Meanwhile, Portland’s mayor, Keith Wilson, says there is no needs for troops in the city.
Portland is considered to be among the countries “sanctuary cities” which limit cooperation with agencies like ICE.
