Donald Trump has provided an update on his Truth Social account, confirming that the United States Military carried out the strikes on Venezuela.
“The United States of America has successfully carried out a large scale strike against Venezuela and its leader, President Nicolas Maduro,” President Trump said.
President Trump also confirmed President Maduro has been “captured and flown out of the country”.
