Staff at a liquor store in the US were shocked when they came into work to find a raccoon had broken in, drunk its way through the store and then passed out in the store bathroom, lying face-down between the toilet and the bin.
Staff said the furry culprit helped itself to the bottles on the bottom shelf and had been handed over to the local animal shelter for questioning.
“After a few hours of sleep and zero signs of injury (other than maybe a hangover), he (the raccoon) was safely released back into the wild,” the Hanover County Animal Protection and Shelter said.
