After Queensland hairdresser Lisa posted an AI-generated photo of the singer getting a haircut at her salon, she told Yahoo Lifestyle that she had been excited to join the trend.
âI just jumped on the bandwagon for a bit of fun, but I secretly hoped heâd call in for a hair cut on the way to Australia Zoo.â
âI truly had so many people believe it was real and I didnât want to upset anyone.â â
The Fresh Feast in Melbourneâs Hawthorn also posted a photo of the 35-year-old meeting the grocerâs owner, and the business told Yahoo that the photo sparked an âoverwhelmingly positiveâ reaction from the community.
âEven though it was AI-generated, people saw it for what it was – a bit of creative storytelling and another reason to celebrate what we do.â
Still, not every business that jumped on the trend received the same reaction â with similar posts flooded with angry comments.
