Shadow Treasurer Ted O’Brien questioned Treasurer Jim Chalmers whether interest rates are as low as they will go under this government.
“I’m pleased that the member of Fairfax has taken a brief break from undermining his own leader,” Mr Chalmers said during Question Time on Wednesday.
“It’s on us to point out the egregious lies being told by those opposite about our economy.
“They ran nine budget deficits, and we ran 2 budget surpluses.”
