Sky News host Rita Panahi reveals former US lawyer Alex Murdaugh has had his murder convictions overturned after it was revealed that court clerk Becky Hill attacked Murdaugh’s credibility.
“Disgraced former US lawyer Alex Murdaugh has sensationally had his murder convictions overturned by the South Carolina Supreme Court,” Ms Panahi said.
“The convictions have been overturned after it was revealed that court clerk Becky Hill egregiously attacked Murdaugh’s credibility by suggesting to jurors his testimony could not be trusted.
“This case was the centre of a hit Netflix documentary titled ‘Murdaugh Murders: A Southern Scandal’ that aired back in 2023.”
