The grieving reserves team of Epping Football Club has today backed out of its scheduled match, to instead honour teammate Nathan Fitzgerald, in the wake of his tragic death.
“Fitzy” died in hospital, days after a head knock while playing last weekend.
Today, he was remembered as a man who loved his team, and was always smiling.
