An official document by Turkish Defence Minister has now emerged which mentions that Ankara is preparing for crisis and war. The document was sent to the Turkish Parliament on August 10 and the details have now been made public. The white paper talks of rising regional tensions and Israel’s growing ties with Greece. Israel and Greece recently signed a major defence deal, with Israel now giving the Iron Dome system to Greece, which will be called the Achilles Shield. Turkey and Greece continue to spar with each other over Northern Cyprus and the Aegean Sea. Meanwhile, the United Kingdom is going to train Turkish fighter pilots on the Eurofighter Typhoon. Turkey has placed an order for 20 Eurofighter Typhoon jets while Recep Tayyip Erdogan pushes for F-35 jets from Donald Trump. Turkey has already signed a mutual defence pact with Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, with many experts calling it the Islamic NATO. Is Turkey preparing for war?
