Sky News host Caleb Bond breaks down the Australian Bureau of Statistics’ pronoun guidelines for census workers.
“I have here in my little hands an excerpt from the training that census workers have been sent,” Mr Bond said.
“There’s a section in it called pronouns. What can you do? And it suggests here that you should do a number of things, don’t assume someone’s gender based on their name or appearance.
“Seriously? I mean, I would’ve thought the ABS has enough on its hands to get the census done … without telling people to introduce themselves with their pronouns.”
