Kabul summoned Pakistan’s ambassador to formally protest, calling the strikes “provocative” and a violation of sovereignty. The Taliban said such actions risk destabilizing already tense bilateral relations. So far, Islamabad has not issued a statement or responded to the allegations. The reported strikes come amid rising cross-border tensions, with both sides blaming each other for harboring militants.
