A historic courthouse in Georgia has erupted in flames, causing the bell tower of the structure to collapse.
Authorities said all employees were safely evacuated after a fire was discovered around 2:20pm on Monday, with investigations underway to determine the cause of the blaze.
It’s understood the Floyd County Historic Courthouse, built in 1892, was undergoing renovations at the time of the fire.
