Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has finally met with US President Donald Trump at the White House, with the pair signing a significant rare earths deal between the two countries.
Albanese and Trump discussed the long-criticised AUKUS submarine deal, bi-lateral relations, and a potential Trump visit to Australia. Trump also lashed out at Australia’s US Ambassador Kevin Rudd and several Australian journalists in the room as questions from the press grew testy.
