Giant tortoises return home to Galapagos island after 150 years

A homecoming years in the making is offering hope for the ecological future of the Galapagos Islands.

The archipelago, about 1000 kilometres off the coast of Ecuador, is famous for its giant tortoises.

But on one of the smaller islands, Floreana, they had vanished – until now.
