Greta Thunberg Deported From Israel After Flotilla Interception | 10 News

Greta Thunberg and hundreds of fellow activists captured by Israel in international waters were deported to Greece on Monday after suffering what they describe as inhumane conditions in detention.

One Swedish activist said Israeli forces “did not spare any chance” to “humiliate” detained Flotilla participants. The Israeli Foreign Ministry issued a statement that all participants’ legal rights had been upheld.

Of the 479 people Israel detained when it captured the Global Sumud Flotilla, 341 have been deported to date, for trying to deliver aid to Gaza.
