‘I don’t think they’ll ever recover’: Bondi massacre rocks Jewish community

Former NSW detective Peter Moroney discusses the “indiscriminate murdering” of 16 people in a horrific terror attack at Bondi Beach during a Jewish celebration on Sunday.

“I’d imagine the Bondi community are very resilient; I’d imagine the Jewish community – look, they’ve been fighting things for many years, so they’re exceptionally resilient,” he told Sky News Australia.

“But I don’t think they’ll ever recover. I think it’s going to put a dent in the fabric of who they are, but hopefully it won’t define them, and they’ll use that growth from that and move forward.”
