The Israeli military has told Palestinians in Gaza City to leave for the south, warning the military was operating throughout the city after bombing a high-rise building in the city’s west that it said was being used by Hamas on Friday.
Israeli authorities claim that civilians in the area had been warned beforehand, but did not provide any evidence of Hamas militants using the building.
The building’s management denied the IDF’s claims, issuing a statement saying the high-rise was being used for Palestinians displaced by the war for civilian purposes.
Across the strip, 30 Palestinians were killed by the Israeli military on Friday, including 20 in Gaza City, Gaza’s health ministry said.
