The Indian Rupee has hit record lows today against the US dollar and other major global currencies. There has been a signifciant downward trend for several years now. At this time last year (March 23, 2025), one US dollar was worth 86 Rupees – today it’s fetching nearly 94 Rupees – that’s a nearly 9 per cent drop.
