Iran seizes two ships in Strait of Hormuz | ABC NEWS

Iran says it will not reopen the Strait of Hormuz while the US blockade remains in place.
It follows US-Iran peace talks stalling earlier this week and Tehran seizing two cargo ships in the waterway.
In a statement, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Navy said the ships — identified as the MSC Francesca and the Epaminodes — were detained for “operating without the required authorisation and for manipulating navigation systems,” adding that this allegedly endangered maritime safety.
The vessels were reportedly taken to Iranian territory following the operation.
