Iran’s ambassador to Australia, Ahmad Sadeghi has been expelled from Australia after Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced on Tuesday that the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) had “credible intelligence” to determine the Iranian government directed antisemitic attacks in two locations in Australia late last year.
It’s the first time since World War Two that Australia has expelled an ambassador.
