Defence minister Richard Marles has confirmed that the US is able to access data collected by one of the military aircraft Australia has sent to the region. Earlier this week, an Australian military base was damaged by an Iranian strike in the UAE. The prime minister said no troops were injured while maintaining that Australia is not at war.
