Is dark energy constant?

An experiment called the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) has been studying baryon acoustic oscillations, which are sound waves from the early universe. Using this data, DESI has found a statistically significant deviation from the cosmological constant, indicating that dark energy may be evolving.
