As voters in Israel cast their votes, tense scenes unfolded during a military operation inside the Israeli-occupied West Bank.
Palestinians living inside the occupied territories do not have a right to vote in Israel’s national elections, with some of those displaced saying Israel’s democracy was “built on the blood of the Palestinian people”.
It comes as a UN inquiry found Israel has continued committing genocide in Gaza after the US-brokered ceasefire last year and was “responsible for the commission of crimes against humanity” in the West Bank.
Israel has described the report as a “propaganda document”.
