Speaking on PEOPLE and Entertainment Weeklyâs Red Carpet Live show at the Emmys, Isaacs claimed he felt âlike a surrogate fatherâ to Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sarah Catherine Hook and Sam Nivola, who played his TV family.
He said, âTo be honest, I fell madly in love with Patrick and Sam and Sarah Catherine as my fake kids, that when my real daughters came to visit, I said, âLetâs go out and eat with the kidsâ and they went, âDad, weâre your kidsâ.â
