US Vice President JD Vance hosted an episode of “The Charlie Kirk Show” in his personal White House office in Washington, DC.
Vance hosted the show to honour Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, who was horrifically assassinated during an event at a Utah university.
The vice president received tributes from a wide variety of White House staff and Kirk’s friends, including Robert Kennedy Jr, Karoline Leavitt, and the White House Chief of Staff.
Vance began the episode by saying everyone in the White House owes Kirk thanks for being a “critical” part of getting President Donald Trump elected.
The Vice President went on to call Kirk the “smartest political operative” he has ever known.
Vance goes on to credit the Turning Point USA founder with getting him elected to the White House.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt paid tribute to Kirk’s ability to engage in civil debate.
