New polling shows support for the Albanese government has slipped across three Labor-governed states.
A Newspoll conducted exclusively for The Australian reveals Labor’s primary vote in Victoria has fallen from 35 per cent in December to 28 per cent at the end of June, with the prime minister’s approval also dropping to minus 14 ahead of the state election in November.
Similar declines were recorded in Western Australia and South Australia, where Labor’s primary vote has eased and Anthony Albanese’s net approval has also fallen.
