While appearing on Travis and Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast, the actor explained that when he finally got an agent as a young teen, “They said, ‘Your name is too ethnic,’ I go, ‘What do you mean? It’s Leonardo DiCaprio.’ They go, ’No, too ethnic. They’re never gonna hire you. Your new name is Lenny Williams.’”
The 50-year-old added that “my dad saw [the agent’s] photo, ripped it up, and he said, ‘Over my dead body.’”
