Linda Reynolds wins defamation case against Brittany Higgins in WA supreme court

A Western Australian supreme court has found that Brittany Higgins defamed her former boss, ex-senator Linda Reynolds. Delivering his judgment on Wednesday, Justice Paul Tottle ruled that three social media posts in dispute were defamatory to Reynolds, and that in two of the three Higgins could not establish a defence of truth or otherwise. In the third post, Tottle found Higgins had a valid defence of honest opinion, fair comment and qualified privilege
