Former President Barack Obama joins Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed and gubernatorial nominee Jocelyn Benson at the One Michigan Rally in Detroit on October 24, 2026. The rally coincides with the first day of Michigan’s statewide early in-person voting and aims to mobilize voters for Democrats ahead of the November 3 midterm elections. The event comes as El-Sayed campaigns against Republican Mike Rogers for Michigan’s open U.S. Senate seat, while Benson faces Republican John James in the governor’s race.
