Demonstrations near the Bangladesh High Commission in the Capital led to heightened security deployment around diplomatic premises. Earlier, Dhaka suspended all consular and visa services across its missions in India and summoned the Indian High Commissioner. India, however, has continued visa operations in Bangladesh on humanitarian grounds, particularly for medical patients. As violence continues in Bangladesh and international attention grows, India has raised strong concerns over minority safety and regional stability.
