M23 leader denies accusations of war crimes

The Democratic Republic of the Congo’s east is stricken by war.

M23 rebels have faced accusations of committing atrocities by the United Nations – accusations that their president, Bertrand Bisimwa, denies.

SBS correspondent Prue Lewarne spoke with Bisimwa in the city of Goma, which was captured by M23 in January.
