During the episode, Scott’s phone brought up memories from 2020 showing a photo of him with an ex-flame—and although Gia wanted him to get rid of the picture, Scott refused, explaining that he didn’t want to delete any memories.

Scott then told producers that Gia had “pretty much just walked out.”

Still Scott held his ground saying, “I’m not going to remove memories off my phone of an ex when there’s nothing there.”

Relationship coach Samantha Burns told Elite Daily that you should really only consider deleting photos of your exes if the images impact you, not necessarily your partner.

She explained, “If looking at pictures of you and your ex makes you miss them, overwhelms you with anger, or you find yourself crying every time you look at them, then it’s important to set some breakup boundaries.”

But if you’re specifically wanting to preserve some memories, Samantha said “consider saving all of your couple photos to a flash drive and storing it out of sight and out of mind.”
