The United States’ top diplomat has called the recognition of Palestinian statehood “symbolic” and “largely meaningless”.
In a radio interview – Marco Rubio responded to the growing movement of Western countries, including Australia, pledging to accept a state of Palestine.
He said countries like ours, the UK, and France, were making the moves due to domestic politics.
