Anger and uprising against the Pakistani Army continue to rise in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) as thousands of protesters demand basic human rights. The demonstrations first began on June 7 when people demanded electricity, jobs and a reduction in inflation. Led by the Joint Awami Action committee, the protestors are also now demanding electoral rights that have been denied for decades. Meanwhile, the protesors have started name calling Pakistan’s generals, including Army Chief Asim Munir. During these demonstrations, Pakistan’s army has killed at least 58 civilians, wounded hundreds and detained thousands. India has now called out Pakistan for oppressing the basic rights
