The photo, which was shared to Instagram, appears to be from their trip to Botswana in 2016.
Meghan captioned the post, “When 2026 feels just like 2016… you had to be there.”
During their engagement interview with the BBC, Harry recalled inviting Meghan to visit him in Botswana.
“We camped out with each other under the stars. She came and joined me for five days out there, which was absolutely fantastic.”
“So then we were really by ourselves, which was crucial to me to make sure that we had a chance to know each other.”
