Melania Trump has secured a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine in the Russian-occupied city of Oleshky.
The ceasefire is set to begin on October 29 and will allow non-military teams from both countries to visit residents in their homes and coordinate transport for those wishing to evacuate to either Russia or Ukraine.
“I think she’s done a great job. I mean, she’s into saving babies and bringing babies back home to their parents, and she’s been able to do something that’s great,” US President Donald Trump told journalists outside the White House on Friday.
The development comes as Trump pressures Zelenskyy to reach an agreement with Putin to end the war.
