Mexico’s most wanted drug lord, Nemesio Ruben Oseguera Cervantes, known as El Mencho, has been killed in a military raid in Jalisco, authorities confirmed. The longtime leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel was accused of trafficking cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl worldwide, with a $15 million U.S. bounty on his head. President Claudia Sheinbaum praised the operation.
