More missing Australians have been located and confirmed safe in the wake of the Nepal-Tibet flooding disaster, bringing the total number of Australians unaccounted for to 38.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says the families of all these people have been contacted, while embassy staff in Kathmandu and Beijing continue to work with local authorities to locate more people.
Foreign Minister Penny Wong has welcomed the news but warned communities to be ‘realistic’ in the days ahead.
