A 36-year-old aspiring nurse, Supriya Thakur, was found dead inside her family’s Northfield home, with her 42-year-old husband charged with her murder. The mother, who had moved from India eight years ago, was known for working up to 80 hours a week to provide for her teenage son while studying to become a registered nurse. Her husband appeared in court and was denied bail, remaining in custody as their son faces life without his mother just days before Christmas.
