Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the second phase of the US-brokered ceasefire in Gaza is inching closer.
Netanyahu will meet with US President Donald Trump later this month to discuss key issues yet to be resolved.
Those issues include the demilitarisation of Gaza and whether an international security force will be deployed.
Hamas says many clarifications are still needed on the 20-point peace plan, but the militant group is willing to discuss “storing or freezing” its weapons during the truce.
