Shadow Housing Minister Andrew Bragg says the government’s Help to Buy scheme will “make it harder” for first-home buyers.
“The major task in housing is to get the houses built,” Mr Bragg told Sky News Australia.
“When they provide that, up to 40 per cent of a house, they’re not going to do any checks if that money is ever going to be returned to the taxpayer.”
