Tech bounced back on Monday after last week’s selloff, with Amazon and Tesla leading the Nasdaq higher and the S&P 500 up about 0.4%, while the Dow finished just below the flat line on the 39th anniversary of Black Monday. Yahoo Finance’s Jared Blikre charts the close: Amazon rallied after Morgan Stanley named it a top pick, Tesla rose 3.76% and Palantir gained about 4%, but CoreWeave tested its one-year low and is down nearly 25% in a month. The 10-year Treasury yield rose four basis points to 5.14%, WTI crude sat near $98 with Brent around $110, and diesel is still near $6.32 a gallon.
Market Domination, Market Domination Overtime and Asking for a Trend are live weekdays 3-5pm ET with Yahoo Finance Host Josh Lipton.
